Good friends at Kingsmead School will be forced to compete against each other when Denise and her team arrive at Kingsmead to cast the stars of Hairspray: The School Musical.
The judges will have but a few days to cast the kids who will have a short time to learn, rehearse and perform their roles on a West End stage. With just a handful of lead roles and a school of 1400 pupils, competition is going to be tough.
Sisters are going to be pitted against each other and best friends will have to compete to make it to the final auditions. There will be no room for complacency once the roles are cast - if Denise and her team feel that someone is not pulling their weight, they could lose their part.
