It's been a tough week at Kingsmead School as the cast of Hairspray: The School Musical prepare for their grand performance on the West End stage this Sunday.
Show Director Stacey Haines is feeling the pressure after the kids first full rehearsal revealed gaping holes in their performance. A second rehearsal proved more successful but showed the cast that they still have to raise their game.
Cast member Sian received a shock announcement when she was pulled aside by Ben and Danny. Preparing herself for a harsh critique of her performance, Sian was amazed when they invited her to audition for the role of Little Inez for the West End Production! (Once she finishes school of course).
The cast finally arrived at the Lyric theatre full of smiles and excitement, however the hard work is far from over, it's only just begun!
